This handcrafted Relics Casket is an authentic Gandhara Art stone carving, made in
Pakistan using traditional hand-carving techniques on premium Black Schist stone. Rooted
in the ancient Gandhara civilization (1st century BCE), it reflects Buddhist relic traditions.
Crafted by master artisan Zahid Hussain, trained in the Gandhara region and practicing this art
for 22–25 years, these heritage pieces have been available at Lok Virsa since 2012.
